Budapest ONE phase 1

The iconic, sustainably designed and energy-efficient office building offering panoramic views of Buda comprises more than 66,000 sqm and is located in Őrmező, Hungary’s largest transportation hub. Situated at the intersection of Metro Line 4, Kelenföld Railway Station and the capital’s inbound section of the M1–M7 motorways, the complex can be reached directly from the city centre in as little as 10 minutes. The building complex includes 3,500 sqm of retail and service space and is complemented by 2,500 sqm of green areas. In addition to the numerous shops and services operating on the ground floor of the office building, the full range of Etele Plaza, also developed by Futureal is within walking distance for those working at Budapest ONE.

During the design of Budapest ONE, special attention was paid to ensuring that its striking architectural appearance would not visually overpower the surrounding residential area. The ribbon-like, undulating floor plan and façade were shaped to enable the most favourable site utilisation. The building was designed to achieve the most ideal form in terms of solar orientation, solar energy potential and natural airflow.

This groundbreaking office building was among the first in Hungary to obtain international WELL Building Platinum pre-certification, while its first phase was the first in the country to receive WELL’s highest Platinum certification. The development also earned the international WELL Health-Safety certification for safe operations. The second and third phases of the building simultaneously achieved the BREEAM Excellent Design Stage environmental certification awarded to sustainable buildings.

Together with the honeycomb-inspired smart parking garage built in the immediate vicinity of the office building, Budapest ONE offers more than 1,200 parking spaces for those arriving by car. Electric charging stations are available for hybrid and electric vehicles, as well as for electric bicycles and scooters. The Parkl app further enhances convenience in the parking garage by displaying the number of available spaces and guiding drivers directly to an appropriate spot.
