Europe-re.com: Cordia launches unique residential project as continuation of Corvin Promenade

After a dynamic start to the year, Budapest’s new home market may gain further momentum during autumn, with total sales expected to surpass last year’s figures. Cordia has already started selling over a thousand new homes and plans to launch further projects later this year. One notable project is a residential conversion located next to Corvin Sétány. The Corvin Campus by Cordia project transforms a former office building into a modern residential complex. With its excellent location and rental potential, it is particularly attractive to investors, and reservations are already open.

Demand for new homes in Budapest doubled in early 2025, while prices rose by 6%, making it Cordia’s strongest first quarter since 2016. “We expect demand to rise again in the autumn, boosted by maturing government bonds. Total yearly sales may well exceed last year’s 7,400 units,” said Áron Görög, Cordia’s Sales Director.  The Corvin Campus will offer more than 200 studio and one-bedroom apartments, along with a three-level underground garage, community spaces, and a rooftop terrace. “This type of functional conversion is unprecedented in central Budapest, and it supports sustainability by reusing the building’s structure and applying a ceiling-integrated heat pump system,” added Gábor Kovács, Chief Architect of Cordia.
